My love of design, photography, and videography began at an early age. I got my first digital camera (Nikon Coolpix) when I was 7 and designed an entire brand guide for my lemonade stand when I was 9. Over the years, I've explored different passions, but always ended up finding my way back to a creative field. My favorite thing about design, photography, and videography is the opportunity to turn an idea into something other people can see and believe in (and if you're reading this and you're also interested in graphic design, let's talk ;)!

I love the entire concept of photography freezing a moment in time. A good photo captures what it felt like to be that version of yourself, in that period of your life, living in that house, when you were that age, had that hair color, your youngest was missing her two front teeth, and you were expecting your third baby. Life moves fast and you can't possibly predict what it will look like in a year or two or ten, but you can always remember what it did look like when you see that picture.

I am also passionate about graphic design! It started as a hobby for me during COVID my senior year of college and turned into a full time job. Similar to photography, I love the ability to bring an idea to life through design. It is so satisfying to present a logo, graphic, or brand guide to a client and hear them say "YES! That's exactly what I was picturing."

More fun facts about me:

• I am a competitive distance runner and have been for most of my life!

• I attended the University of Iowa

• Two of my bucket list goals are to visit every national park and go for a run in every state

• I love hiking, baking, swimming, reading, and writing!

• If I had to craft a perfect day, it would be involve going for a good run, jumping in a lake, eating a great brunch, having some drinks on the water with people I love, listening to live music, and falling asleep with a touch of a sunburn on my shoulders and a smile on my face :)
