Bowhunting Whitetails is a semi-live YouTube show centered around growing, managing, and hunting whitetail deer, hosted by Bill Winke and sponsored by Hoyt Archery. Viewers can follow along with the projects, improvements, and strategies implemented by Bill on his farm in Northeast Iowa and learn in real-time.
The show began in 2022 and is currently averaging nearly 400,000 views per month (January 2025). The focus of the channel is to educate and help other hunters who are looking for sustainable, long-term strategies to improve the herd quality, numbers, and size of their whitetail population, as well as strategies to be more effective bowhunters.
I serve as the creative director and my responsibilities include promotional photography, in-field filming, video editing, merchandise design and management, social media management, and (occasionally) a personality on the show.
